It's freezing!

Me, the lover of all things cold, is wearing two pairs of socks. Let me go ahead and sum that up for you - FFS it's freezing. I have the heat on full blast (lolol), it's the warmest part of the day, and it's barely 60 degrees in here. Okey dokey then! Explain to me again why I pay over $1000 rent for this shithole apartment? Oh, yeah, because renters are money hungry asshats. :D Now that that's cleared up...
I found an adopter for the rat girls! Like, a really, *really* good adopter! She has one neutered boy who is ancient and one young girl, so she's been looking for a pair of girls to add in. Since legit adoption opportunities are scarce in the Chicago area now, she's taking all three ladies. :D Yay! I'm not even changing her, I'm just happy knowing they are going to a good home.
I'm doing my homework and starting early (gasp) on some projects. I can easily pop off projects and get an A on them, but I want/need to start using things for my artifact portfolio (read: resume), so they need to be on point. For my Children's Literature class we are designing a 100 book project that we should be able to take into the classroom with us. I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do, but I need to smooth out the detail and pull a rough draft together. My reading and Language Arts class is taught by the same teacher and I need a literacy center project too.... Hmm, no clue on that. XD
I'm cold, and hungry. This sucks. Send hot tea and blankets please!
