Happy September. Wow. Where did 2012 go?
Joel and I's 12 year anniversary is on the 9th. Since we're old fogies, we're not doing anything special. Instead we're shampooing our carpets and buying a new couch. lol Well, by new I mean, "new to us" cause we can't afford new-new. Whatever. This is the one I really want, but it's super far away:
I really want a brown one, and I like the ones with a chaise lounge at one end too, but bah. An hour drive? It's on the higher end of what we want to spend, and then factor in the truck rental and gas, and it gets expensive pretty quickly. This is the other one I like. I have to admit, the cheap price is a contributing factor. lol It just doesn't have much character though, you know? The pull out bed is nice though, and the fact that it comes with the throw pillows that I can recover is a plus. Our living room is brown/tan though, not boring ass beige. :( Maybe it can be saved with pillows and a throw. We'll see I guess!
Did my math homework, and wrote my paper for my education seminar already. Just have some more reading got do and I'm done with weekend homework. Also, yay for Monday off! Gonna go pick up the few supplies I need for my classes. I wasn't able to get a commuter locker, so I'm stuck lugging around alllll my Tue/Thurs class materials, so I need to condense this shit down before I seriously pull a muscle or something.
I'm *super* stressed out about my immunization records. I'm going to look like a complete idiot calling and requesting another copy. I know I have to do it, but I'm procrastinating hardcore here. I even had nightmares about it. :( I wish I wasn't such a wimp. It was so nice of mom to call in the first place and help my track down where they were, so I can't ask her to do it again - that wouldn't be very mature, now would it? And it would just make me feel worse, in a different way. I'm so lame sometimes. I'll call on Tuesday I guess, and hopefully get them on Wed. I need to have them in by Friday, and I still need to go get my last one. I don't want a fee and a hold on my classes. :/ Boo, hiss.
