(no subject)
I'm baacckkk....
..from St. Catharines...
heheh such a neat little place down [map-wise] there... I got to drive along this windy path up the mountain/hill with forests on both sides everyday.... so pretty =). except it's a bit dangerous when you are going downhill, cuz the hill is steep AND the turns are quite sharp... reminds me a lot of initial d... lol.
and the family I was living with is really nice too, they lived in the same place as me back in china, altho I don't remember ever seeing them before o.o;. they have a neat little house (well, not really little), and my room had close-to-lime-green pillows and bed cover ^^. and I got to play with the piano for a bit as well =).
the course itself is pretty boring... good thing i'll be skipping a whole week (almost.. have to drive from pioneery to st. catharines thursday morning... cuz I need to be there thurs afternoon for my 70% attendance =.=;). But met some cool people (the 2nd youngest person is 21 this time.. woohoo), got to go shopping during lunch time ^^, and timmy's everyday during breaks =).
Altho my teacher is a pretty crazy lazy... she mentions beer an awfully lot that I'm really wondering if she's an alchoholic o_O;. and she has this tradition where every thursday, the whole class have to stand up and do a little dance singing "it's thursday, it's thursday". (keep in mind these are like.. mainly 35+ year old adults o.o;;) and our normal class time is 8:30-4:15, with 1 hour lunch + two 15-min breaks. but so far we've been let out at: 3:15, 3:30, 3:00, and 10:55. with 1h20min lunch and 20-25 min breaks o_O;. The rest is supposedly, "Homework Time", that 'may be spent at home if you wish'.
lol so today class was over @ 11... went 'home' for lunch and then left for mississauga @ 12 ish. I had to look over maps for like a whole hour yesterday... lol I even traced out my route through google satellite. o man... I got cornered (literally) by trucks around winston churchill... there was a truck to my side, my front, AND my back, AND there was a pretty high wall on the other side of me. O__O;; that was so scary.. especially how i have such a little car and the wind kinda makes it 'float' when you are driving at a high speed =.=. but I got home ok, and surprisingly, I didn't get lost once...weeeee =)=)
