Idiots as far as the eyes can see, including the mirror...

Get up, take shower (always important in the south). Climb into truck. Joust with other drivers. I'm almost not kidding with that last one. The freaks who try to come to a stop in order to merge onto the freeway are the ones who get to me. Then again, the most annoying has to go to the big rigs who wait till the last minute before signaling over to your lane OR the suburban beast that decides to cut across 4 lanes of traffic to go up a ramp leading to another freeway. Gotta love those. So I get to work (I'm in IT for a small firm) and there's a small suggestion for a new feature to a portion of the database, just some error checking. No biggie right? Right?

Right, only on that part. The particular portion of the system is quite touchy, so you have to pass the data it's expecting, or it won't produce the results you want. Sounds pretty basic, right? Wrong. Users don't want to put in all the information, even the zeros, just the information they see as relevant. Lesson learned:don't give them the chance to hose your system. Cause no matter how many times you tell them what they need to pass so you don't go writing default information, they will not want to put it in. They're just as lazy as you are. Bastards! ;)
