of my son

old men

watching my baby
smile
of teaching him to talk
to read
to walk

of teaching him
peek a boo
of holding him
close in
my arms

of wiping up
tears
and cleaning
his cuts

of doing all the things that ive been
able to do
with alissa and nathanial
