Closure

Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps, if we never veered off course, we wouldn’t fall in love or have babies or be who we are.

Had another outing with the ex on Saturday. Quite refreshing to see him again. This time it really felt like yesterday, doing our usual dating stuffs, like dinner, movie, window shopping and such. Watched Wanted, a good movie nonetheless with good action sequences and of course Angelina Jolie acting all suave and cool.

After dinner we had tea and conversation. Yes, we talked about what happened 2 months ago, about the break-up, about us as a whole. We talked. We exchange our minds. I am happy that YF did not mince the truth nor did he hide from me. Just the plain truth. I am happy that I finally have my closure to a wonderful relationship he has given me, given us.

I relish the fact that I too will never ever find a partner who is as compatible as us or complimentary as us. It was love.

I am happy too for a fact that YF has his priorities right and his future will be bright. As an ex, he knows that I will always be there for support.

Au Revoir.
