The lunch treat that was not.

Had a mini bday cake cutting in my office today. Colleagues bought me Swensen's strawberry ice-cream cake. So sweet of them. Nuthing biggie because it is tradition in our office to do so for everyone's bday. Later I invited them to eat Sakae Sushi at the Curve. We had a good time, so did my Managing Director. MD commented that it was cheaper in Sakae as compared to Genki or Sushi King.

There I was happily asking for the bill when my MD beat me to it and paid it. I was abit embarrased. But I thank my MD after that. It is known that the eldest will foot the bill but I'd rather not because they have treated us from time to time be it beer drinking sessions and what not, so I tot I would repay them by treating them this time for lunch but alas it was not to be.

Well on hindsight, I can use the dough for my celebration tomorrow night.

On another note, just before I cut the cake earlier, I called him. I told him I forgive him and that I wished him all the best with his new boy and to take care and all the best. I even extended my invitation to him to attend tomorrow if he still wants. Well upon doing so, I felt liberated and free. Yes I did the noble thing and I can finally be at peace with myself and he can be as well. Free from the burden of pain.
Thanks god for the guidance and spiritual enlightenment.

Amen.

I am a new man from today. Thank you my lord.

Cheers.
