I'm really happy that we added a little somethin' somethin' to that horrible episode, Black Market. I don't think there's too much fallout between Bill & Laura with the Cylon baby blood, just what we showed, and I'm glad you're okay with it.

I love how you captured these emotions and not only made me feel for Brooke, but you made me feel those things myself.

I've always wanted more fallout from Laura being shot in the cancer by the cylon baby blood,

Me too, if not between her and Bill, then just how she feels personally about what happened to her.

Oh, I liked this chpater.

I love Bill coming in like a knight in shining armour. He has an annoying sweet habit of doing that in canon too. LOL.

I love the ending. So sad and sweet.

I love the bit with her slapping him actually because I read that as Bill doesn't realise that she really truly likes/loves him. He just thinks she's doing stuff because that's her job etc. That really reminds me of Bill.

I'm not sure about Laura and Bill 'fighting' about her cure though. I know it's written into lots of fics but I never get that from watching the show. One of those interpretation things I guess.

We really liked the idea of Bill showing up ready to play the big hero and Brooke having none of it.

I love the ending. So sad and sweet.

We're really putting this poor woman through the wringer.

Bill really needs some sense slapped into him. Lets see if it did any good ...

We thought there might be a little fallout, but not much. Bill's tone is fairly light when he's talking about it, so you know it can't be all that bad.

What a heated chapter! The emotions of the characters have been felt throughout the story, but this was rather overpowering. I so feel for Brooke, her anger towards Bill, and pain at realizing Nicco was right.

Nicco is always right!

I am still on the fence about Bill. He is an exceptionally well written character, Im just not sure if he is "cannon Bill". He has many of his traits, but some actions really surprise me. Then again, that is only my view of who cannon bill is.....your creative talents have other ideas and I keep me coming back for more :-)

Glad you're still coming back for more. When the entire story is posted, and you can see the arc from start to finish, I wonder what your thoughts will be.

One question though--which may or may not help my Bill issue...how old would you say Brooke is? Kara's age?We thought Brooke would be about 37 or 38. At one point we were toying with an age of 45 or so, but when we picked the actress, Jewel Staite, as our visual representation of Brooke, we decided that was pushing it. Brooke ( ... )

Eventually everything had to culminate--emotions have to be dealt with. This isn't the last emotional chapter, but I think they got a lot of things out that they needed to here, in their own ways.

He has many of his traits, but some actions really surprise me.

It makes me really happy that you've continued to read even though some of his actions may seem out of canon for you. Thanks for that, I really appreciate the feedback and hope you'll let us know if Bill is your idea of Real Bill at the end of it all.
