Of cars, drama, toilet seats and heated tiles
First of all, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Birthday, Aiba-chan~
So I have a couple of stories XD They are insane and crazy, just like my family!
First was our trip going to New York! We had been having car troubles for a good week now. The van that we usually use for our family trips had a few things wrong with its engine so my dad set out to fix it. For some reason while driving it, it keeps stalling or like cutting off and then back on. We have no idea what's wrong with it but it was mostly fixed and we journeyed to NY! We got 30 minutes outside of our destination and the car sputtered a little bit. No idea what happened but we continued our journey. Later that day, my brother and dad went to look at a car somewhere on Long Island and the van broke down at a gas station. So we left the car there and went back this morning to get it checked out by someone and they "repaired" it for like $475. As my dad drove it back to the house, it sputtered again. Still we have no idea what is wrong with it. We drove it a little bit today and it didn't really do anything but its reliability is shot until we can get it re-checked on Monday by someone else.... We were just lucky it didn't die somewhere on the road!
That caused a bit of drama in itself.
Then there was a lot of family drama with my grandparents mentioning something that NONE of us grandkids OR parents want to talk about but they just can't seem to drop it. I think they are in denial of what my aunt did back in '09 with the hitman and they feel bad for my cousins.
BUT I have to day, what really gave me a laugh was going to the bathroom at my grandparents house. My grandmother recently had surgery and uses a cane now. But in the bathroom (I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A PICTURE OF THIS!! I regret not doing it!) over the toilet there was a handicap like... seat thing. I thought I'd move it cause I didn't need it but when I moved it, the toilet was missing the lid and the thing you would or would not sit on. I forget what it's called, lol. So I put it back and ended up using the handicap thing. It was REALLY STRANGE! It was like you were peeing into a hole way way below you... I don't know how to describe it. It was like porter potty status XDD hahahahah
Oh and we went to church for Christmas mass (omg... it was a joke!) and I looked like I was dressed for a funeral:
So much black!
Oh and about the heated tiles! We have these at home but at my uncle's house it's so much more noticeable! The bathroom and the kitchen have heated tiles! It's still a strange thing for me but I get excited about it for some reason, lol. You walk from cold wood floors to what would think would be cold tile but it's warm!!! D: lol
I don't know... I thought it was cool lol I'm so easily impressed, lol.
OK! Christmas day is tomorrow! Let's see what other craziness will happen!! D:
