I stopped drinking all night and took up sober driving... Although I do not have the massive hangover from hell in my head I am stupidly tired and spent lunchtime lazing on the couch watching "Howl's Moving Castle". Most of the time I drink I don't get the major hangover but I just can't be stuffed with the being too tired to do anything... and it seems to occur with less and less alcohol intake these days...
At least I didn't have anything major planned today except doing a hell of a lot of washing, which sucks given that it won't dry outside today, so the dehumidifier and fire are going in the lounge to try and suck the moisture out. I have run out of drying racks so the next batch will just have to sit in the basket until I can make room.
So a little catch up on recent events...
This week we printed the majority of the wedding invites and put them together. I will put up a pic once I've taken one. The overseas ones were put in envelopes yesterday, but I didn't make it to the post shop before it shut so they'll get sent to my parents tomorrow and they will send them on in the next week. I think I'll try and label the local invites tonight, will give me something to do watching NCIS.
Last weekend we got a new kitten. I'd been trying to convince Ryan to let me get one for weeks. She is a lovely black colour and in certain lights you can see tabby markings. She is uber friendly and is currently sitting on my lap, for once not jumping all over the keyboard and causing me to add random letters into words. I'll put a pic up of her soon too. Our older cat Pads is improving in her dealings with Daphne. We've gone from hissing and growling and stalking to swatting. She is happy to come and go still and hangs out in the lounge although she won't let us pick her up if the kitten is around. She has at least started letting us pat her again too. Hopefully we'll be somewhere back to normal in another couple of weeks. Daphne is not fussed by any of this, she's extremely friendly and insists on climbing anything and everything including us. Ryan has come to enjoy her company too despite the effect it has had on our older cat.
Lastly I passed my PCE1 exam which is the professional competency exam I had to do as part of my working towards becoming an accounting technician, so I just need to complete the mentored study now (which basically means going to work) so by the end of January I should be able to apply for full membership of the institute!
I guess I should probably make up an Excel spreadsheet too for RSVPs for the wedding. Not too much planning left to do for it which is good, I'm looking forward to it being all organised.
I think I'm caught up now... sleepy sleepy...
