To write, or not to write...

Mar 11, 2009 15:59

This is my first post here on LJ, and the reason for that is simple. I didn't know what to write about. (And, wasn't too sure how to make a post)
But, since the page looked so boring and said nothing about my personality, I finally decided to post a entry.

(To be honest this is my 3rd try to post.. I feel technically challenged)

I have decided to post ( Read more... )

To make the (chapter 1) part a link you don't need to make a separate post.

If you click 'Journal > Post an Entry', on that page where you put your text, there are icons along the top. Like ones to make your text bold, italic and underlined. If you keep going along the icons, there's one that has three lines, then a zigzag one. (It's two icons over from the one that looks like a disc.)

If you click it, it might say the website is trying to use a scripted window. If it does just allow it to use scripted windows then click the icon again. A box will come up saying 'Cut link text'. Type 'Chapter 1' or whatever you want the cut to say into that and click ok.

Then in the area where you put your text, text will appear saying "Type your cut contents here" which will be highlighted in grey. If you click in that box and paste or type your story into it, it puts it behind that link.
Then above the grey bit, you put the title, pairing, author part.

If you just want to test if the cut has actually worked, at the bottom click the drop down menu where it says "Show this entry to" and change it to private. Then you can check your journal page and see if that cut's worked :))

I hope I've managed to explain this okay >.<
If I've said anything confusing or something just ask! I hope I've helped >.

Oh no, you explained it very well.
I managed to do it 8D
Finally all the stories I have in my head can be written.
Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it.
Now, I shall start reading that "You don't know what you got until its lost" story of yours.

Ryoshige = Love!

:D I'm glad! I'm normally terrible at explaining things haha >.<

What pairings do you have ideas for?
Or is it just original characters?

You're very welcome :)

I hope you enjoy it! :))
It is indeed! They blatantly agree with us ;P

Well, first I'm going to write a multi chaptered thing ala Battle Royale and The Hunger Games.
Lots of implied pairings and angst >.<

I'll totally focus on Shige. I am a huuuuuge Shige fan!

Fav pairings are ShigeRyo, KoyaShige and ShigePi (there is not enough love of the latter pairing Dx)

Ahh :O Do you mean The Hunger Games as in the book? :D

I don't blame you ♥_♥

I know! And ShigePi is so cute too DX
I would write a fic of ShigePi but all my ideas turn out to be Nishikato haha ^_^

Yes the amazing Hunger Games book. Of course, I won't be ripping it completely xD; I -have- taken inspiration from them, but made it my own :p

Yes, somehow it feels like Ryo and Shige jsut belong together. I love watching them on talk shows, cuz they're getting alone fine now (finally)

Oh, I agree with that, they really should have one. And what'd be fun with them having one is Koyama and Shige doing a lot of the talking.
Neither Yamapi nor Nishikido is the talking type.

TV needs More Shige <3
