I made the boys their shirts. Braden's getting the navy one, Chris the black one. I actually dig them both with almost equal affection, because leet speak has its place, and somehow, that's it. Hopefully Jessica is still planning on coming over tomorrow so we can crank out a good base for the selling of shirts. And get a name for the little company. I haven't really thought about that, really, though I've thought about other things, such as modeling the shirts. My camera seems to be functioning for once as well! so that will help with that. And I'm willing to spend a little bit on advertising once we get a site going, as well as probably having some advertising on the site to generate side revenue. Not sure how this whole mess is going to work, but I'm thinking we're definitely going to make use of Project Wonderful advertising, and get some ads posted on the comic websites.

The super good thing is we have super low overhead so we'll be able to charge reasonable prices. :) Hopefully, this will be fun, and to some extent profitable.

I'd like to do some funky sort of cross-market thing, where we've got Lindy-gear(including super twirly/comfortable t-shirt skirts), steam-punk-appeal(aka corsets, petticoats and maybe some smoking jacket style stuff and maybe talking to my dad about making some cool gear jewelery and other metal fun. I'm thinking a t-shirt corset could be really comfortable, though real boning is expensive, so we might take some alternative approaches) and other categories as we come across them. I really enjoy stenciling, because it's quick and pretty, and after I get a few more smaller brushes, I might do some real painting on the shirts too. I'd love to create some larger stencils after we've maybe made a bit and do some indyArt style crap too.

I'm excited about this, obviously, and hopefully, since there's someone else involved, the excitement will persist. Of course, the excitement will only grow in the event of actually getting orders and what not. I'm thinking about half will be custom order type stuff, and the other half of the store will be whatever the heck we feel like making in whatever size. ^-^

Also, I'm making bread using my breadmaker for the first time and it smells sooooo delicious. Tonight will be a tasty freaking dinner! So off I go to cook like the housewife I'm feeling like these days. ^-^;; F'cking work not giving me more hours.

camera, t-shirts, breadmaker, chambers, chris, braden, swing geeks, project wonderful
