Firefox Vs Chrome
Two fast browsers! One newly developed and One with a loyal fan base.
Chrome and Firefox are similar in ways compared to Opera, Safari and IE. Chrome has faster loading tabs, an inbuilt search on the URL bar and rapidly increasing Add-ons. Firefox does have a moderate speed in tab loading, the smart URL bar and a huge range of Add-ons.
So what's the difference?
The smallest details can effect the whole user performance.
In Chrome, it feels weird not to have the File Edit.....bar and because i have jing (a free snapshot tool) which is on the top, the tabs interfere with that. I am not really happy with the bookmarks and how they are placed because they are all bunch up on one bar. The bookmark Manager annoys me and the lack of Add-on really frustrates me. I love the speed of chrome and the ability to translate a page into English. The show of most used tabs is good but not my style. Chrome lacks something for me because i am not able to customize-To make it mine. I do kind of hate the layout of Chrome even though it has similarities to Firefox. I hate how Chrome makes all the tabs smaller when you have too many open because i can't view what is on each tab.
In Firefox, i love the freedom of customization and i am fine with the moderate speed.The categories of bookmarks such as Bookmark tool bar, Bookmark Menu and Unsorted Bookmark are good. I love the side bar in which the bookmarks can come up which is like IE. The range of Add-on makes Firefox easy to use and just me. The framing of the top and bottom bar help me eyes to focus on the text while Chrome does not have these outlines. I love Firefox's arrows so i can navigate the my tabs when i have too many tabs open. I hate how Firefox can crash easily and how some add-ons can slow down firefox.
Firefox has similarity to IE and Chrome. Switching from IE to Chrome is awkward as everything is different and it is hard to get use to. While Firefox is like a middle browser that has a bit of both.
I use both Firefox and Chrome but Firefox is still my default browser because i am so familiar with it.
