Needs to be a place for weirdness on radio. We've never been obvious rock stars & we needed to carry that w/ us.
• How was recording #saverockandroll different from past albums? #AskFallOutBoy http://tw.itunes.com/iH9
@ButchWalker has a very different style of recording and production than we're used to. More stripped down… Also; Most collaborative album we've done thus far (amongst the four of us I mean).
• What song are you most excited about? #AskFallOutBoy
To me the book ends of the record are "Phoenix," and "Save Rock and Roll." The first and last song respectively… They're my favorites and really define the album.
• Will you go on tour for #saverockandroll? If so, where are you going and for how long? #AskFallOutBoy
Yes! We're actually starting a sold out tour across the country in a few weeks. Then to Europe/UK for a bit. Then in September we're heading out on the #saverockandroll U.S. arena tour. All of the dates are up on our site. Can't wait to get back out on the road & play these new songs for everyone

Honestly? At this point I feel like we've put ourselves out there so much. I can't imagine that we have many secrets from our fans these days.

@eltonjohndotcom is amazing. A true gift for melody and delivery but also an incredibly fascinating man. Probably my favorite recording session thus far.

I think the key is to neither anticipate nor to cater to what's happening on radio at the moment We'll definitely continue experimenting with different sounds for some time though.
• How did you choose the album cover for Save Rock and Roll? - @joshfranfitty #AskFallOutBoy
The cover depicts two brothers & I think that was an important part of where we were coming from It has far reaching sentiments both personally and politically but at its core the cover is just about brotherly love. To me anyway
