Black Cards: gonna answer a few more questions tonight whilst ordering xmas gifts online. same place...
Matt Ripley: what is one band you have always wanted to tour with?
Black Cards: blink 182. thank god i had that chance. there are a few others but that was pretty close to the top.
Julien Depolo: So the doubt is going to be 10 tracks?
Black Cards: im not really into eps. singles worked in the 70s. we only get paid on 11 songs on an album but who gets paid on albums anymore. but to me this is a body of work. i want people to hear it as that. my guess 12-13 songs. if it were up to me wed put it up on the internet tonight and let everyone else figure out creative ways of paying my familys mortgage. though its not up to me.
Josh Sullivan: Who is your major influence in what Black Cards sound like?
Black Cards: it goes from abba (songs like gotta be me) to odb (songs like honeycomb head).
Brittany Effin' Byroad: whatchu ordering~
Black Cards: last order "epic mickey"
John Dawson: Last time you introduced yourself to someone as Jason?
Black Cards: its been awhile since anyone has believed it.
Brittany Effin' Byroad: hey, when you go on tour are you gonna play smaller venues/clubs? and will fans be able to meet you guys after the shows?
Black Cards: ask the kids from the east coast shows or the uk ones... id expect to hit the midwest sometime just because i miss home.
Lindsey Thomas: this isn't really a question, but i want to say thank you for playing the few small club shows in october. you guys are great.
Black Cards: thank you.
Shaneria Ball-sprouse: Why did u leave fall out boy Pete
Black Cards: i did not leave fall out boy. i understand you keep posting things about things that happened on the internet years and years ago featuring a sidekick, a young idiot and morrisey pictures. but knowing all of that wouldnt you also know that- fall out boy is on a break that was not a direct decision of any single member of the band.
Sara Murphy: Any plans to use Bebe's crazy coloratura in future songs? She's got some majorly sweet pipes, man.
Black Cards: working on a song right now which may be the current album favorite. ill keep you posted.
Samantha Jamgochian: What's one question you wished you were asked in interviews? Also, I'm making a request that Black Cards stops somewhere close to Delaware, because we never get anything and it's sad and makes my heart die.
Black Cards: delaware you got me for 20 years of my life every thanksgiving until my grandpa passed away and neither you or i knew it. woo charcoal pit was my jam for cheese steaks. i wish people asked questions that would feel like they would outlast the bands music. those are the best interviews ive read. it sucks to go into autopilot and say the same answers over and over again.
Karen Renteria: What do you think when fans get tattoos regarding the band like lyrics....autographs...your name? :)
Black Cards: i dont recommend getting tattoos in general. possibly only because i have so many bad tats.
Brittany Effin' Byroad: why do you always do Q+A late when i have to be asleep. sgkldjlsdgj. always, peter. always.
Black Cards: because first the two year old takes on the house then when he falls asleep the house needs to be reinforced for the next day. besides i just have a hard time sleeping.
Rowan Hart: does it feel different performing on stage with black cards instead of fall out boy?
merry christmas to you and your family (a bit early i know but gotta try and spread the christmas cheer).
Black Cards: thank you. never too early for a merry xmas. there is def a too late though. same to you. and yeah it feels different, like right before we go onstage someone yelled "opposite day". but kind of in a good way, i feel a lot less pressure in the live shows.
Amy Powell: Tour anytime soon?
Black Cards: i wanna say a spring tour that we really wanna be on but i dont wanna jinx it.
Naomi Taylor: I don't care what people say about you, Thank you for helping to stop Human Traffiking and everything else you do for people you don't even know. Your a true Hero.
Black Cards: i dont care what they say about me either. but thanks for the kind comment. i feel indebted to those who commit their life to making others lives less painful.
Black Cards: oh this is pw btw.
Michelle Mendoza: What is your favorite book you're reading now? Any recommendations for a good book to read?
Black Cards: tipping point by gladwell. hammers the point hard a bit but its a good one- and i think were distantly related so this is kind of a plug. - im in between books reading palin quotes.
Brittany Effin' Byroad: there is a really slim chance that you will respond to this, but i don't care. i just need to say this - thank you so much for being there for me when no one else was. i know you get this a lot, but it's just...you have saved my life. not just you - fob. everyone in the band. i felt like you were beside me, helping me ...through it. i will never stop loving/supporting you. thank you so fucking much, pete.
thishasbeenasappypostthatdoesn'tmakesense. ok. bye.
Black Cards: thanks. i dont really know how to respond to things like this, other than this makes my skin a bit thicker every time someone has a lil hateful pointless comment- so it boomerangs back to me. thanks.
Brandy Z: Do you have a few favorite comedians? (Because you know in this crazy world we have to find humor in the madness) =)
Black Cards: dan levy (levi?), aziz, chris rock, zach galifianakis, drunk history as a whole... i dunno everything in the world is comedy
Kayla Ramos: Who is the Honeycomb Head?
Black Cards: its a "what" question i think.
Trisha Sales: Have you read every published work of JD Salinger?
Black Cards: no. it almost feels like an invasion of privacy. i feel like salinger didn't want us to know or crave knowing so much about him.
Olivia Buckley: any fun stuff planned for bronx over christmas?
Black Cards: yes.
Hannah Mount: What is the stupidest thing you have ever done?
Black Cards: the book is too long. get me the cliffs notes.
Black Cards: right. jumping back into serious xmas shopping! night humans.
