While watching the first two episodes of season 3 of BBC's Merlin this week, I was wondering about one thing:
Why does Uther see Igrayne in the well while he's hallucinating?
I know he sees the child because it is one of those which he had drowned because of their magic abilities. But why does he see his wife? Is the whole "She died after giving birth to Arthur"-story just a cover story? Did she indeed have magic abilities and was therefor killed?
Maybe I'm misconstruing and am giving it more meaning than there is. But after all Morgana has to get her magic abilities from someone doesn't she?
Comments my include spoilers.
