It's been so busy around here lately, I've forgotten to keep this thing updated! Meiko's concert in Cambridge was a huge success. There were some talent scouts there that interviewed her after the performance and gave them their card. Auntie and I were really proud of her success and this time next year, she might have a real musical contact signed. There was an after party throw in her honor, where fans could line up for autograph signings and photographers could get pictures for the paper. She looked really amazing up there, under the flash bulbs.
I know I have a long way to catch up, but I'll continue rooting for her every step of the way. She is my big sister, after all.
New Years was a lot of fun too. The twins came over to the house and we had a nice sized party, with present exchange and dinner. Everyone made resolutions and stayed the night. I was forced to drag the brats off to the studio for a shoot since Auntie wanted new pictures to decorate the mantel with. Meiko sure has enough sitting around. She wanted a few of me as well. I felt kinda embarrassed, but.. if anyone wants some, I have extra copies. It was the standard three pose, three size photo session with multiple backgrounds. They came out pretty nice, considering. That new winter coat Auntie saved up for looks really nice. Blues and whites, just my favorite colors.
I hope the New Year kicked off with a bang for the rest of you. School will be in session soon, so make sure to enjoy the rest of the break while you can and see you on the train ride soon.
(OOC: Consider this post back-dated a week before school starts. I was able to use Jackie's labtop to make this post, so. Fail computer is still out of commission for the most part.)
