Joye 'Little Sparrow' Darkholme

Cauldecott County, Mississippi

Rogue and Jubilee were victims of a Government fertility program that resulted in Rogue carrying a child of unknown genetic heritage. They were kept in the facility for the first seven months of Rogue's pregnancy, until a rescue team located them for a mission. Rogue and Jubilee were given a full physical examination following their return the base and while Jubilee was 'untampered with' to say the least, it was discovered that Rogue was playing incubator to Jubilee's daughter.

Jubilee didn't want anything to do with the kid; as good as giving Rogue the child. Requesting leave from the team following the birth of the little girl, Rogue moved back home, to Mississippi, and legally declaring the child hers.

➤ Joye is well aware that Rogue is not her mother; Rogue has never shied away from the fact that she is only Joye's adoptive mother. However, Joye doesn't have a problem with it. She's met her real mother, Jubilation, and figured out where most of her looks come from, but she's not fussed either way.

➤ Communicating with animals seems like a pretty crap power in Joye's opinion. Her biological parent can make fireworks and her Mom can knock down walls. Joye can tell foxes and wolves and 'gators to fuck off. It's a little on the lame side really, but she does like chilling out with some of the birds that hang around. Joye got her nickname from constantly having sparrows or robins hanging around.

➤ When Joye was nine, Rogue was asked to return the Team-X for a short while. Joye went along with her, under assurances that the girl would be kept safe. It's kind of okay, all things considered, Joye thinks it's a pretty decent gig. Although she's less keen on the military side of things; because her personality is all Jubilee.
