It's not dumb! When I first joined imzy, the join a community page was iffy and it looked like you were signing up to join imzy even though you were logged in. It was so weird lol.
Well, first you need to join imzy! If you pm me your e-mail, I can send you an invite. From there, once you're logged in, you push the join button when you return to the community. The page works like a forum, but you can also start a personal blog there when the feature returns (they just froze the feature a few days ago, but it'll be back at some point). Imzy was created by someone who used to work for reddit. It's basically a big place of forums. If you have any specific questions, I can answer them :D
