Olympic interlude
Yee-ha! I'm glad I did all my outdoors stuff yesterday evening (mowing the lawn, ugh) because that means that tonight I can stay in and be glued to the tv watching the women's gymnastics team final!
While I'm on the Olympics, I have to add that I'm really disappointed in the Chinese Olympic Committee for the fakery that went on during the Opening Ceremonies. Not only were fireworks digitally inserted into the television feed, but now the little girl who sang turned out to be lip-synching. Why? Because the girl who *did* sing was deemed "not cute enough." Boooooo.
It's also amazing how much is available on the internet - I missed the men's 4x100 IM relay on tv, but was able to watch it on my computer. How exciting!
