Breaking news! Korean version of Hana Yori Dango cast complete
I just got wind of news that the cast for the Korean version of HYD is finally complete and will air next year. Here's the poster for the drama:
Tsukasa Domyoji will be played by Lee Min Ho (top left), Rui will be played by SS501 member, Kim Hyun Joong (top right), Soujiro to Kim Bum (bottom left) and, Akira’s role to Kim Joon of T-Maxx. I'm not too familiar with any of them but the one who will play Rui so far is the one who looks the best IMHO.
Koo Hye Sun will join the cast as Makino/ San Tsai. From the looks of it, she kinda looks "too soft" of too cute contrary to the character she's supposed to play - a girl that's headstrong, tough and has that kind of roughness of personality which can be endearing. Barbie Hsu played her part really well, she was an ordinary girl who, despite having simple means and simple looks stood out because of her strength of character. Inoue Mao is definitely cute but she has that quirky, klutzy appeal that everyone can relate to.
Well, we cannot tell yet with Hye Sun, if she plays her cards right and if she has chemistry with the rest of the cast... So we just have to wait and see!
