A couple of classic cars.

Jim and I have acquired a couple of classic Volvos this year The top one is a 1984 240 very similar to the one my grandparents had and spent many years chauffeuring Bubbie around when Pappap passed. This was to replace the Sebring as my daily driver bur right now there are a few gremlins preventing that. Right now its the locking mechanism in the driver's door that is preventing it to be opened from the outside and inside, plus the fact that I am to old to play the Dukes of Hazard. Jim had just got finished repairing the damage from a battery fire from before our purchasing it. All it really needs is a 134a conversion and new struts and shocks which we have the parts to do both......if we can just get the driver door opened.

This is a 1970 164 that we purchased from a close friend's mother its originally from Vancouver Canada and its in great shape. She gets a lot of attention when we drive her and probably a lot more when we get her painted back to the original Grey color next month. Although she is a rare car, 12000 made in 1970 and less than 24 known in the United States, its not to difficult getting parts for her because she shares the same parts as the 140 series. The only part I have had no luck if finding is a replacement horn ring.
