I've tried looking it up, but I still just don't understand the appeal of the Mad Hatter. Is it just preference or is there more to it then that. I give up.

It's not that I don't like the Mad Hatter, its more I just don't understand what is so appealing about him. Is it just cause he's "mad"?

I have no idea, to be honest. He's just a story character everyone recognizes. I've always thought Alice In Wonderland as a story sounded like the greatest acid trip ever, lol. XD But other than the imagery, I don't see the appeal either.

Yeah, that's how my dad and history teacher pointed it out as, its just I know people who write stories on him, they have dark versions of Alice in wonderland in video games, and there are actually halloween costumes, so I was like, what is the big deal about him? oh well.
