Report 058 [Video]

Mar 21, 2010 11:26

[It's pretty clear the video isn't accidental this time around. Hitsugaya glares into the view for no more than a few seconds before removing Hyourinmaru from its sheath and slamming it into the wooden floor at his feet. He doesn't stop until the tsuba hits the wood, completely burying the blade. Then he turns back to the PCD.]

Not this time.

Ara! Did Hyourinmaru anger you somehow, Hit-su-ga-ya-taichou-san~?

[Do ignore the sing-song way he addressed the chibi captain... He just happens to be near the top of Urahara's 'fun to annoy' list.]

[See this smirk and how he's totally unfazed? Yeah, nice try chibi, but Urahara was a captain before you even thought about becoming a shinigami, hell, probably before you even existed in Soul Society as Hitsugaya Toshirou. That, and he's best friends with Yoruichi and Kuukaku... Ever gotten them mad at you at the same time? No? Well, this mere shopkeeper has.]

Words, Hitsugaya-taichou-san~.... Use your words...

A man like you doesn't deserve them.

[Oh ouch.]

A man like me?

[Cuz you know, he already feels guilty about the whole creating the Hogyoku thing. Not that anyone aside from maybe Yoruichi would be able to tell with that grin he has on.]

Yet I still got them!

Tch! You're almost as bad as Aizen himself.

If you dare come near me, I will kill you.

And how am I as bad as Aizen himself?

[Oh he knows that this is probably due to the event that has Mayuri releasing his bankai and having it act as a guardcatepillardog outside his house, but some part of him can't help wondering if any of this was true and if this was what people still thought about him.]

And how are you going to kill me without your zanpakutou?

[Aw, don't worry, Urahara. Hitsugaya hates you for who you are as a person, not for what you've done in the past. /thumbs up]

Stop smiling like that!

[Not answering that question. He'll do what he has to.]

[Fan to face, hiding the grin.]

Smiling like what?

[Yes, he's being difficult, more so because Hitsugaya is providing decidedly entertaining.]

You still haven't answered my question~!

[Hitsugaya is not only paranoid, but the paranoia is making him anxious. Provocation will not go over well at all.]

You know something! If all you're going to do is stand there and smirk like the damn megalomaniac you are, then there's no reason for any further communication.

[Have some bemused blinking over that fan.]

I'm a megalomaniac? And all I know is that there is some event going on these past couple of days

[Instantly got his attention there.]

What sort of event?

It would seem to be one in which the affected become more... cautious, suspicious... paranoid, really.

[He absently tapped the closed fan against his chin.]

Mayuri-chan released his bankai and has it guarding his house, others have barricaded themselves in their homes with weapons drawn, behavior ranging from distrust to outright aggression, even from those who are not prone to such behavior... It is widespread and abnormal, leading me to believe that it is due to an event.

Or perhaps they've finally realized what's happening around them.

Perhaps, but most are not prone to being so obvious or dramatic.

...

[See that? That's why he didn't want to talk to Urahara. He just kneeeew that was a jab at him.]
