(no subject)
So, my Dad's in the hospital. He had a *minor* stroke. He's doing alright now (of course he's always going to say that.) I feel horrible because his wife called and left a message on our machine, which evidently ate the message so I never got it. So she calls me today, after he's been there overnight already, to give me an update, and I know nothing about it. She said he was wondering why neither of us (my brother or me) called. Talk about feeling like a horrible person. Anyway, he should be out tomorrow, they're doing more tests.
In happier news...kinda...I'm thinking about buying a truck. I'm looking at Fords and Dodges. I just need something that'll pull a two horse. I've always like the Fords, but I'm really starting to like the Dodges--they're so big and cool looking (is that ok criteria for choosing a vehicle?) Anyway, I'm open to all advice and suggestions.
Oh, one more thing, for everyone in and near Indy: Thursday August 5th at the Rock Lobster in Broad Ripple--Emerson Rose is playing. I think they start at 10:00.
