If you're going to send out an email asking if it's alright with everyone if you act as moderator for a panel, at least wait until you get responses from everyone involved on the panel BEFORE you send an email to the coordinators saying that you'll be the moderator.
Especially when you're a sucky moderator who doesn't believe in planning what will be discussed at a panel before the convention and lets audience members direct the discussion and do most the talking.
