There is nothing wrong with this LJ account. Do not attempt to adjust your settings. I am now in control of Mel's LJ. I control the icons and the scrool bar (but apparently not the spellchekur).
...and somewhere in the background, Mel is groaning and smacking herself on the forehead over my inherent silliness. But hey, that's what happens when you foolishly let He Who Blogs Rarely (And Refuses To Get LJ No Matter How Much Ysa Pokes Him To Do Otherwise) make this guest entry.
First and foremost: Happy Birthday to Gabezilla! Today, may you paint the town red. Or eat it. Whichever you prefer. (Though my money's on the eating. Whether it's the paint or the town or both is up for debate...or else a simple "yes")
Second and sort-of-foremost: it may not be openly advertized, but the Doubletree Hotel already has the room block set aside for Anime North 2008. (The convention/group code is the same as last year too, I'm told: AME.) So if you want to grab your prime crash space now while it's to be had, here's your chance to get the drop on all the other otaku.
Now if anyone needs me, I'll be answering Mel's probably rhetorical question of: "Why do I put up with you?"
