This weekend has been nothing like what I wanted, but at least it has been full. Saw some of my favorite assortment of fuzzy creatures, velvety sugar gliders, freshly sheared alpacas (I swear the brown one moos!), nibbling groundhogs, twitchy nosed bunnies and many more varying in size from cow down to chipmunk. Meandered through sunshine and grass at several of my favorite parks and trails. Stopped and took in the fragrance of my favorite flower before it hibernates for another winter, it smelled divine. A few phrases and words bombarded and echoed in my head as I tried to enjoy the sights and sounds of the world which only really lead me to the distraction of pondering the scent of the woods, smells like dirt and that is ok. Enjoyed some events brought to our city by the Fringe Festival, had the opportunity to see a few people I know perform, thank you for the lovely entertainment. As always I ate a variety of delicious meals tacos(I love lunch tacos!), burgers, and some healthy things too. Had the pleasure of wandering the public market and purchasing some of the autumn delights, mmm concord grapes. I got some nice reading done at the RMSC garden followed by a gorgeous night sky. Venus was quite bright as it set for the evening. With two telescopes set up atop of the planetarium helping to spot many recognizable constellations along with globula clusters and ring nebulas. My new contacts significantly aided in my amazing view of the cosmos, an experience I greatly missed. Somehow I fit going to work too. Spent time with some of the treasured people in my life (wish I could have seen a few more of you and spent a little more time together *hug*), we watched old shows and new, shared meals, discussed ideas and shared many a hug. Hugs are great!
