Didn't get a lot of sleep the night before the wedding, as I was making sure my camera gear was charged up and ready to go. Also had to pull out everything I'd planned to wear, including another dress for later that evening (It was the Changeling Winter Masque game), jewelry, make-up and I made a mask to look like ice. Got up and didn't really have time to eat, which was fine...I was too nervous to be hungry. Chris and Dana dropped Katherine off here and I went back with them to their hotel to kill time until the shuttle bus picked us up. Went for lunch at the hotel and they insisted I eat...
It was nice of them to pay but honestly there wasn't anything I wanted, even though it was before 3, the menu only had heavy items. No fruit or anything light like that. So I grabbed a sandwich I didn't really love and picked at it.
Got to the wedding location, a large golf course in Burnaby and pulled out the camera. The guys who hired me let me bring a plus one so I asked my friend Christina to come with me. She was awesome and kept a hold of my gear while I was running around doing everything. I have never ever held my camera for that long omg...that was 7hrs straight of photo taking with almost no sitting down. They had seen my shots from Katherine's birthday and Hank also recommended me so even with explaining I have NO wedding experience, they still wanted me.
I think the photo's came out okay, not super wedding professional looking but also not "I don't need a professional, my Uncle has a camera" type :P And as long as they are happy with them, that's what matters.
When I had 5mins to sit down and grab a drink, I pulled out the ice mask I'd made to show Christina. Next thing I know, its being passed around our table and everyone loved it o_o. I'd never even attempted anything like that (its all made with a glue gun) so I wasn't sure it was any good. But one guy loved it so much, he gave me his e-mail address and told me him and a bunch of his friends would buy them if I'd be willing to make more o_o
I'd been hoping to be out of there by 8 - 9 at the latest but they said they wanted me there until 10. I knew I wouldn't make it to game so I was pretty crushed but wedding = more important. Right at 10 I changed as fast as possible, tossed on some glitter....forgoing the pretty make-up idea's I'd practiced the night before and we drove off to the Mason Hall. I got there at the 5minute warning =(. Missing all the dancing, music and singing. Gord walked over and we talked IC for the brief time I had. He made me laugh with his mocking Trask idea which was nice and I did get to go to Afters but I was so dead tired I couldn't even see straight.
Talked to friends, had some ice cream because my throat was dead and wrapped myself up in another friends coat and then mostly zoned out. I think I got home after 2am? Staggered awake I don't even remember when, because I heard Katherine, who just crawled back into bed with me for a bit and we watched Pitch Perfect video's on Youtube until my brother came to pick her up.
I had Glamourati rehearsals that night and omfg did isolation's hurt like fuck, I was so incredibly sore from the day before that it made dancing hard. I was also so dizzy that I was seeing spots.
Afterwards, I did the usual and went to Timmies with Christina to hang out. I was so out of it but it was nice to just hang out and actually have time to eat. Had some soup then came home and crashed. Monday I pretty much slept off and on all day, I plan to just rest tomorrow as well. Other than hanging out with Katherine and work on the wedding photos.

And a one Hank took.
