Had another extra hour of dance class on Tuesday (Lisa is seriously awesome~), even though the room again felt like it was about 100F....it was nice to be able to keep going. My knees held up for the entire thing until just after we walked outside, then my left knee gave out hard. It was still messed up the next day so I missed out on going swimming, going to the gym and going to try to re-order the forearm crutches which would have been nice to have that day o_o
Sadly the one video taken that I was in didn't record, its always good to have the ones Lisa takes of herself because then I can see exactly how it should be done, but I also like the ones Im in because it gives me a chance to see what I'm doing right and what I need to work on. Plus its just cool to see the progression of the routine. Also found out there won't be the small show in August =( only the big one in November. There is a good chance I won't be able to take part unless I get lucky and my surgery is booked for September. Pending how well I heal (and my track record for healing fails...), I need at least 6 weeks of recovery time.
Still trying to figure out how to get there and home, one suggestion had been to grab a hotel near the hospital the night before (too expensive). James had offered to fly here to help out but with knowing how far the place is he said maybe he should just drive here so he can take me to and from. Its a nice offer but too expensive for him to drive out, its cheaper to fly and have me try and pay for a cab home. From the airport it's about $50 and this place is further so I'm thinking $80? I may try and ask Dana if she can get me there and back, once I find out the date maybe she could switch days at work to do it...but I really don't want bother her with it.
If James does fly out it would definitely help having someone around but he can't keep Sierra from jumping on me and I really don't want to board her with her anxiety, I want her here. I guess I will just have to hope we can prevent her from doing it.
Speaking of Sierra, she's back on her asthma meds. Half a pill for a week and then a quarter for two weeks. They are going to call during the last 2 weeks and talk about how things are going and possibly set up an appointment for a reassessment.
James gets here on the July 30th, my birthday high tea is the 3rd
http://www.lapetitecuillere.ca/, night at the Opus hotel is the 5th and actual birthday plus last day of Lisa's class is on the 6th~
