One Word
If you had to describe yourself to others in just one word, which word would you choose? Why would you choose that one -- do you think it's the same word others would choose to describe you?
Tempestuous.
Long story short, I found this word while doing one of those personality quizzes many years ago. At the time I decided that was a nice way of saying that I am weird, but in reality I'm a lot more sane and a lot less weird than I like to pretend to be.

I digress. Much like the tempest, I am quick to get angry. I'll curse, I'll yell, cry and sob and scream at the top of my lungs. And after that short outburst, I'll move on like nothing ever happened. I used to fashion myself as the calm, cool and collected sort of person but really, I'm the hot-headed impulsive one who gets in trouble all to often. Yes, my temper has gotten me in a lot of trouble before. I have insulted the wrong sort of people and have done things that came back and bit me in the posterior. At the same time, I'm the sort of person who does not hold a grudge, or care to remember things that happened in the past (translate: gullible fool; but that's another story for another day).
