008 [Voice] | Killer fruit?
Aug 25, 2008 22:23
I just had a tomato try to chew through my trousers. A tomato.
[There is a faint rustling of fabric.]
Hmm. It did a pretty good job, for something that's supposed to be dinner.

I doubt they can. They're tomatoes. They don't have anything like a proper consciousness.

Well, they aren't supposed to have teeth, either. You never know.

I do know. I'm a mind reader. I know when a thing is thinking and when it's merely reacting.

Yes, well, many things that don't have a proper mind can be trained. Animals, males...you name it.

Animals do have minds, albeit not of the same level of consciousness as a human.
Human males generally aren't trainable, but it has less to do with their minds and more to do with testosterone.

Some animals have minds.
Of course, it's possible we have different definitions of the word, hmm?

I suppose it depends on the animal. I have a butterfly that I would wager is smarter than most people.
