31 - Shiroi Kumo icons (with a little cameo from his brother, Akai Kiri.)
Lol.
So here's a story: it was one night when I was randomly surfing around Final Fantasy Wiki and it must have been in Shiva's article when I saw Kuroki Kaze's (obvs character in the anime Final Fantasy: Unlimited) name and I was like, "Lul, o rly." and just for lols, wiki'd this guy Shiroi Kumo who was my favorite character in the series. And what I read just shocked me, somehow. XDDD 'cause after the anime, they wrote and recorded continuations not distributed to the mass and I was shocked to see a summary of those events. A lot of times, I went, "Ohhh, so that's what happened." until I came upon this site which, much to my surprise, has images I have never seen in my entire FFU fandom and translations to the continuations.
And just to say, you guys have no idea how obsessed I used to be with this guy. XDDD It must have been about four years ago! I remember I was a high school student, writing and dreaming up silly ickle fics. So when I saw the images, I laughed at myself and started saving for some icons. And here they are! (I saved all the images and icons in separate folders both titled 'crack')
Honestly, I didn't think I'd be able to whip up this many icons seeing as how I really do feel anime art is so flat (which happens if you've like, been iconing RL people for a looong time, already) and Kumo is...well...white. :/ And there's only so much you can do with whiteness but thank God for textures. And thank God for pretty art, too! 'cause really, FFU art makes me laff sometimes. Like, sometimes Kumo looks like a proper man okay, others he looks like he's about to get raped, the rest he looks like a dolt so I dunno. I'm still not forgiving the anime staff for pouring all the nice art on the last ep, though! So not on.
Maybe I'll make moar icons of the others soon. But for now *shuts up*
