HAI GUYS!
Sorry for being the world's worst updater. I'd say nothing interesting is happening to me lately, but that has hardly stopped me before. I've been busy and non-fannish and LAME and now all the stuff I want to read/need to catch up on is overwhelming. Dreamwidth? Is it a magical place? I'm not sure I get it, but people seem to be getting along fine with it, no? The little "crossposted from" tagline pops up on my flist every now and then, so I'm reasonably sure I'm not missing out on things.
Do you know what I've been wasting my time with instead of fannish things these last few months?? I'm sure you couldn't possibly care less and I've also babbled about it before, but I'll tell you anyhow: MAKE UP! I've never worn make-up before, except for a little concealer under my eyes cos I get wicked circles (thanks, dad) but NOW!
Well, now after Hamburg! Where I was bored and skedaddling around all the time because I knew no one and discovered youtube videos that answer all my lame questions and shopping centres with scary displays where people make you pretty!
I've been like a 12 year-old, only faring slightly better in staying away from the bright colours, and it's been fun. I feel horribly shallow just talking about this, but I am enjoying myself and my skin's looking better than it has in years :D :D :D
ohhh, and in terms of fannish life, BIG BANG, EH? I have a number of stories on my ipod that I can't wait to read. I have a paper on Thursday that I need to do a ridiculous amount of reading for, still. But after that? Ohhhhh, boy!
