Today was the first time I've ever got an email telling me I've flunked a class. The only problem with this is the fact that I never even took it. This, by the way, being the first time I ever got an email about pass or no pass altogether.
I did take one with the same lecturer two semesters back though, which means there must have been some sort of "select all" mistake with the bulk emailing. I feel rather bad for the people who really did flunk the class, it can't be fun to receive another email going "oh, sorry, mixup, but not in YOUR case." >_<
Machines. They are so out to get us.
Today the weather is wonderfully autumny, all grey and rainy and I have a shiny case full of new Gilmore Girls episodes because they had a sale for the fifth season. It may very well have the ugliest, most offensively airbrushed cover I have ever seen, but YAY!
They also had Serenity for 8 bucks AND Poolhall Junkies for 6, so score!
I'm currently looking for a new monitor, a 19" flat screen - does anyone have any suggestions or warnings concerning brands or models? Did some thorough father-daughter bonding at the electronics store today (and URGH. Why is it that the big chains are always full of the weirdest people on Saturdays????) but I'm afraid it's left me more confused than anything else.
