my best friend's wedding. :))
one of my closest friends in high school called me up last night. it has been years since we last talked, in person or otherwise. we had the usual kumustahan, then i joked around that he should invite me pag ikakasal na siya. and in his most serious tone, he told me that he is, in fact, getting married in december, and that i should come to his wedding.
we met up this morning to have breakfast. we talked a lot about our high school friends, just like we did back then. he didn't change much, he's still the jolly old class clown i once knew.
this was the same person who never took life seriously when we were still in high school. this was the same person who asked me to bail him out of whatever mess he got himself into. this was the same class clown who made us laugh all those years.
and now he's getting married.
marci, congrats. you haven't changed a bit, but then again you've also changed so much.
rachel, you may not be the girl of his dreams..but you're much more than he could ever dream of.
