This happened about 3 weeks ago now, but I thought I would write it because some people have been asking about it and it was rather eventful, so here it is!
I'm back.
Left Friday night. Came back Monday night.
It was the most emotional trip I have ever been on.
Friday night I left Geli with Andrew and Chris at the Casino and I went back to Sam's place with him to talk.
Saturday Sam, Geli and I went ice-skating with Willy. It was so lovely to see him again. Saturday night I took Geli and Sam to the Observation Deck before Sam left us (in a huff) and Geli and I had tea with Dagan and Andrew. Then Geli and I went back to Sam's place to start drinking and get ready. Dagan and Andrew later joined us and we went to Sam's next-door neighbour’s where they fed us the strongest alcohol. Geli, Dagan, Andrew and I left Sam there and went to the Casino. Geli and I drank way too much. She threw up at the Casino in the toilets, I fell down the escalator. Then Gel-Gel and I went back to Sam's where I proceeded to throw up in the toilet and the sink. That was when I decided that I am never getting drunk again.
Sunday Geli and I were going to go to Luna Park with her aunty and cousins, but Geli told them that I was feeling hung over and instead the five of us went to the markets. Geli’s cousins were so cute. We went out for coffee after the markets and before we went home. Geli and I ate the spaghetti that Sam had so kindly made us (he forgave me for throwing up in his house) and it was so tasty. Then the three of us met up with Fleur for coffee and Andrew and Dagan met up with us later. Sam left, so the five remaining people went to this lounge bar thing where I scored myself a free drink (I gave most of it to Geli coz I REALLY didn’t want to drink). Before we knew it, it was after midnight and Fleur had missed her last train (sorry about that Fleury…). We went to go to a karaoke bar coz Geli and I promised Dagan that for his birthday we would sing karaoke, but the only one we found was crap and expensive, really shit. Then Fleur left, so Andrew, Dagan, Geli and I continued walking down the streets with no place to go. Geli and I sang so loud and danced and just had a great time. Then Dagan walked off, things were on his mind. So, it was down to three. Then Geli and Andrew needed to chat, so I bought toilet paper. Eventually it was just me and Geli, walking back to Sam’s place at 2.30am. We got inside, I went to go to bed, I heard this little “Wait?” and I turned around, something was wrong. Geli and I went out to the balcony and talked about so many things for what felt like ages. It was the best conversation I’ve ever had with anyone. I love that girl with the majority of my heart (of course I have to save SOME of my heart for other people!).
Monday morning, Sam woke me up to say goodbye (he had to leave early for work) and then Geli and I headed into the city. We shopped. Then met up with Andrew and Dagan. Went into Target and, well, that story will go left unsaid.
Dagan and Andrew went to have tea whilst Geli and I started cleaning Sam’s apartment and packing our bags. The boys came in just in time to help us finish cleaning and to carry our bags to the bus stop for us. An emotional bus ride to the airport.
We were then late for our plane, so our names were called over the loudspeaker thing. And it was funny, so we laughed and stressed a little bit. But then we were home. In Adelaide. And we are now closer than ever before.
I would not give up the memories of that trip for anything.
