There was a brief lockdown, lots and lots of quarantining, lots of political bullshit that divided the country more than it should, and there was death and sadness.
There was, is, depression, and people who felt so pushed up against a wall that they saw no alternative exit than to choose to end their story long before it should have ended.

We have lived through wars in our lifetime, both physical and mental, domestic and global, within self and with others, and at the end of the day, it’s nothing short of a miracle that we stand tall with tattered appearances and hopeful eyes.
