Okay, folks, I would like you to meet someone.
This is Carson The Teddybear. He's our, ICAW's, newly recruited mascot. (What can I say - aclarar's post last night made me do it.)
Carson The Teddybear will be speaking on behalf of his namesake, delgaserasca, and myself when he thanks all of you who participated, posted, commented, spread the love etc this week. Without you, this week wouldn't have happened. The week has been truly fantastic and wow, we got a lot done, didn't we? We had fanart, icons, poems, fic, discussion, meta, a flashvid... We even had a monkey. We had a lot of wonderful stuff, some funny, some insane, some thoughtful, but all equally fantastic. I, for sure, had lots of fun, and I hope that you were enjoying yourselves too.
So, Carson, say thank you.

Also, I have little gifts for you. Yes, gifts. These are little buttons every one of you can put on your userinfos (or wherever) if you'd like to. Be proud of yourselves, you did good! Right-click and save, and then upload to your own server, please.

Now, unfortunately, it is time to get a bit more somber because, yes, it is time. It is time to officially pronounce the week over. This does not, however, mean that Carson appreciation is or should be over! Of course not. People, show the love. It is up to you how much appreciation Carson gets on a regular basis - we only provided the arena. This community was created to prompt all you Carson lovers out there to show your love for our dear doctor, and I do hope that it won't go back to hiding any time soon. Remember - every week is Carson appreciation week in fandom land!
It has been suggested that this community should be kept running in the form of Insane Carson Appreciation Winter/Wednesdays/W-something. I appreciate the enthusiasm and I am very pleased to see that people want to show their love for Carson. I assure you that this option will be considered, but for now, I am not making any promises. In the mean time, I recommend you take a look at beckett_daily and grouphug_carson. They're both wonderful communities dedicated to loving our doctor.
The Week has now officially ended. Thank you, everyone, for a truly spectacular week!
I hope to be seeing you around and I hope that you'll keep the love flowing even after the lights have been turned on and the tables cleared.
