weeeeeeeellll. let's see. is anything new? not so much. i don't think. there probably is, i'm just stupid.
yesterday erin and i bought new yarn, which i'm really excited about. leave me alone, i'm aware that i'm a 78 year old grandma. but...that means that i've started making christmas presents-yay! i'm making my mom a scarf, and my sister a hat and scarf combo for christmas. woot. oh, and today i made a hat for shawnna. it's not for christmas, or i wouldn't be writing this. i made it, and when i was done i looked at it and the colors reminded me of shawnna. so she gets it! haha.
our room is a mess. for serious, people. but we have to clean it before we leave for break, so that gives us a reason to actually do something about the messiness of it all. and it will be nice to come back to a clean room.
i'm so excited for thanksgiving. it's past midnight here, so i get to go home in 2 days! YAY. i'm getting home on tuesday around 6 or 7, and then later linds and i might hang out, which i'm really pumped for. she called me yesterday and totally brightened my day because i hadn't talked to her in forever! and then on wednesday i think i'm free until dinner time when i get to reunite with shawnna! oh, but wednesday afternoon my mom and i have a date to go see harry potter together because we're sweet like that. then...thursday is thanksgiving! so i'll be trekking it up to stevens point to see my family, and i think we might come back down thursday night. and on friday i think i'm free until rachy's awesome dinner which i'm really jazzed up for. please tell me i did not just use the word 'jazzed.' i might have to punish myself. and then on saturday my friends from camp are coming to visit, and shawnna and ang are going to hang out with us. i.am.so.unbelievably.pumped. aaaaaannnnndddd then on sunday erin and i are driving back up here. boo to that. isn't it amazing how full your schedule gets when you go home for a few days? i mean, now that i look at it i have a lot to do. maybe i just won't sleep or something. i never do anyway.
i need new winter-type shoes. i can't be walking through snow in clogs now, can i? well, i could but that would not be so fun. very wet and frigid, actually. i would probably catch pneumonia and die. and i'm not quite sure that would be a good experience.
i should probably go to bed soon. will it happen? highly unlikely, but we'll give it a try.
