I think we should hold off with the flooding until it gets warmer. but that would be an excellent spring plot with the ... lack of massive holidays, to work with.

And the Fear/Urban Legend thing will hopefully be something everyone can get excited about.

Honestly, I like the idea of events that force people together, or to work through what frightens them.

I also think making the game what it was meant to be would work. I mean, let's face it, it's impossible to believe in redemption in purg when murderers are sent home (dropped) and innocents are stuck there.

This should be marketed on perhaps. Have someone step up like "Okay, well. Redemption here is a lie. You're all here because I want you to be. You're fucked but maybe if you do something interesting I'll send you home. Maybe. In the meantime, I'm going to screw with you."

I think the best idea is that sometimes the place sends people home or pulls people in, out of the gods' control. but that the ones they control are based on redemption or ... their idea of redemption, anyway. You know? But chars that want to stay can.... until the land itself sends them home against anyone else's control.

So it covers... The game's plot not being a total sham, and yet, why characters go home that don't deserve to.
