You know, I've still never read any LeGuin. Earthsea is the place to start with her, right?

I wouldn't recommend it-- all of the main characters are unlikeable, and I've never thought it was among her best work.

Try Left Hand Of Darkness. And then Lathe Of Heaven (my favorite). :)
