it's a small, small world...
today in Charleston I ran into:
- 2 people I went to high school with (one on the street, the other at a bar)
- my third grade teacher
- my elementary art teacher (to be fair, she was shopping with the other teacher)
- a girl I went to elementary/middle school with
- my friend Joseph's cousin
that's not counting the folks I intentionally visited with--those I wanted to see and enjoyed hanging out with. I hate that you can't go anywhere without knowing half the people there. Really, if I liked half of these random people it wouldn't be so bad to run into them, but it's awkward mostly...
I miss Portland.
