When Nikki begins blatantly flirting with the sniper Don feels a pang of jealousy shoot through his chest. He wants to pull Nikki into a corner and tell her 'hands off' before dragging Ian into the corner for another purpose entirely.
Then Ian starts flirting right back, and Don thinks how could he be so foolish to think Ian would be bound to anyone. Especially a male someone who he'd only shared one drunken outing with a month ago.
Don holds his heart hostage behind common sense and reasoning for the rest of the case, returning to his apartment alone.

Author's Notes: I only saw the first half of High Exposure before we exceeded out internet limit and got slowed right down, but from what I saw Nikki was so flirting with Ian.
This is the first of four drabbles I ended up writing late last night after a chat with my muse. What, you think I'd leave it there? ;)
