I will tell you a secret.
When christians are pulling that kind of crap with me, and I can't get a word in edgewise, or don't feel like trying, I imagine them doing improbable things with glass covered dildos. It usually makes me laugh, at which point they think I'm nuts and leave me alone.
Or else I just laugh at them point blank, and tell them that my religion is older and theirs is a bastardized version of it. That works for Jews and Pagans alike, because it's true either way. The only way they could get people to swallow their religion was to disguise it as what people already believed. If they had been honest about it, no one would have been interested.
And people should really go back and read acurate translations of some of those 'anti-homosexual' passages. First of all, there is NO WHERE in the Tanach that refers to Lesbians, let alone says that they are bad. And the main thing against gay men is no rape. And even if one were to take "thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman" seriously, that does not preclude oral sex.
Yeah, I've spent a lot of time thinking about this stuff.
I really like the idea about snow, I've never heard that before. It gives a whole new meaning to snow sports.
