And, no, I am not going to call them Tiva. It sounds stupid and juvenile (just a few lengths behind whichever geniuses deemed "Shweir" to be an acceptable nickname for Sheppard/Weir over in Atlantis). C'mon, now.
I have quickly found that this ship community is, for the most part... how to put this delicately... ah yes, "batshit crazy". I feel like I have just stumbled upon a television couple who has just been on the radar too long and has now attracted obscene amounts of those rabid, maniacal fangirls/boys who are too immature to appreciate a pairing in any way other than obnoxiously giving the middle finger to the rest of the NCIS fans. It reminds me of what Benson/Stabler (SVU) and House/Cuddy (House) gradually deteriorated into once they became Mainstream And Super Popular. I've been watching the past seasons of NCIS (thanks for that, USA network!) and wish SO HARD that I had started watching this show back then. It was just so fun and I love the characters and can easily see me becoming a super shipper who looked forward to each week with the anxiety levels that I used to have while watching the aforementioned Atlantis or The Best Couple EVAR on Farscape. Its strange to want to enjoy and fangirl a couple this much but not have a sufficient place to do so. I mean, I've always been able to find a message board or an LJ community that I really enjoyed for each pairing of shows that I've watched* but all the ones that I've checked out so far for Tony/Ziva haven't been too attractive.

ANYWAY, I still love them. I DO. Even without a constant flailing presence except the handful of people on my flist who ship them as well *waves to you people* So, because I've been procrastinating writing up an actual review of how I'm liking this season compared to the rest (since I'm doing a MASSIVE EPISODE BINGE while trying to catch up) or how irritated I was by a few things in the past two weeks (Very Important Episodes), I'll just post pretty things! YAY!!
Things liiiike this video that I found that I just kept watching to keep my shipper adrenaline going. And then had to hunt down the music so that I could add it to my Running iPod. Nice.

And lastly, Four Things That Would Make Tony/Ziva More Awesome:
1) Stop treating viewers like they're stupid. Subtlety is not really something the current writers have a firm grasp on. I almost feel like they feel this need to either completely ignore all Tony/Ziva subtext or focus on it so incredibly that they have to SHOVE OUR FACES IN IT. Umm, hi, I already want to ship them. If I didn't want to ship them, this would most definitely make me hate the prospect of a Tony/Ziva relationship. Here's my buddy anr. She will write an awesome relationship into the show that will not overtake the NCIS team. I don't think that they understand that there are times (the majority of times, in fact) where having something like Tony tucking her hair behind her ear or Ziva teasing him about his hair insecurities is so, so, SO much more effective at leading us to honestly LOVE a relationship than something like EJ awkwardly calling out their connection or Ray forcing Ziva's Single Woman status again just so the writers can now have Tony swoop in (WHAT WAS THAT? BITTER, PARTY OF ONE??)
2) Move show to 10pm on FX. Ok, or 10pm on Showtime... or AMC... or ANY NETWORK OTHER THAN CBS. It should be said that I tend not to pick up shows on the big 3 anymore (NBC, CBS, ABC) because they can only go so far. There is only so long that you can drag along one of these procedural shows before it becomes stale. Can you imagine how they could spice things up with the language/sex/crimes if they moved to cable? NCIS: Hardcore Motherfuckers. Which brings me to my next suggestion...
3) Get Cote de Pablo naked. OMG, this woman is GORGEOUS. She is officially my current TV girlfriend and makes me sooooo glad that I bat for both teams. Likewise, a less-clothed Michael Weatherly wouldn't be too bad either. If I could be guaranteed to see a semi-clothed Cote de Pablo every week... hell, even if it was only once a MONTH, I would be setting up NCIS viewing parties at my house. And naked Cote de Pablo obviously means naked Ziva which can only do awesome, amazing things for possible Tony/Ziva shipping, amirite? ..... Fine, I admit, perhaps that's an unfair jump in logic. But, hey, a girl can dream yea? ;)
4) Remember, Ziva is a Ninja. STOP MAKING HER SO GODDAMN WEAK. Just because she wants some sort of permanence in life and is looking for a relationship and whatnot doesn't mean that she has to become an entirely different person. People change, I get it (well, unless you're House). But I watch Seasons 3-7 and it feels like I'm watching an entirely different character. Maybe its because Ziva hasn't really had a storyline this season, I dunno. And, yea, she got to kick some ass during the Christmas episode and she punched Ray in the face last week (WHOOPS SPOILERS LOL) but I would like my real Ninja Assassin back please.
