Back in NOLA
Yep. I'm back in NOLA for the summer II session. Five weeks of philosophy and biochemistry. Woopah! Philosophy is actually interesting, it's rapidly becoming one of my favorite subjects. I wish I had more time to take classes and explore *sigh* but I don't...Such is life I guess. I'm working with the HH children, which basically involves me serving as a tutor and guru to college life at Xavier. It's actually been alot of fun. The kids feel like I'm so much older than them, and although I feel that way, I"m actually only 1 or 2 years older than the vast majority of them. LoL. It's been great though.
Yesterday we celebrated the fourth of July. Murff and I went over and cooked for Tristan, Torrey, Nicole, and ourselves. The meal was quite delightful! The suprise birthday party for my parents was amazingly wonderful last weekend. They had no idea and were stunned to find that so much friends and family came from Illinois, Georgia, Florida, etc. just to spend a few hours with them! IT was fabulous.
Tomorrow is the 21st birthday. I honestly just want to be home with D and my family...we'll see how that works out! Life is good though!! Must run to dinner! Ciao!
