well, ive been without a summer break.
how effin' lame.
school starts thursday at TAMUK
taking a 20 hour load.
meh....
it really isnt even that bad... kinda.
plus I got an application mailed to me from my aunt's friend who does admissions for the biomedical science grad school at the Texas health science center in san antonio
pfft. whatev' i just wanna get this semester going.
I've been re-vamping a few guitars of mine. A les paul junior... and my first electric... a strat.
totally gutted them. unsoldered all wires and did it myself with my own wires
those assembly line guitars look like a friggin amazon's bush with all that excess black wire.
why cant they be neat? or at least shield the damn insides with foil tape so that the shitty stock electronics dont give all sorts of retarded feedback and buzz.
i should just work at a guitar company and just build guitars...
ive been getting soo into GOOD blues even more lately (didnt think i could get more into it)
so needless to say i rewired my strat and dropped in USA parts. so its basically a fender inside a squier. hah. only cost like 15 for the potentiometers(3) , 12 for the 5way switch, and i had a set of ceramic vintage wound single coils that id been procrastinating putting to use...
so... i actually have a really great "re-vamped" strat. has tones like an early SRV & double trouble album.... and it can get a pretty good buddy guy tone.
oh well... back to noodling around on guitar... 'night.
