My first week of school is over. It was good, although it felt like a month or more! Eek! I'm already involved in WAY too many things, but I'm auditioning for Jazz Choir on Monday. I can't help myself...I love being overworked!!! Lmao. I'm just finishing up my first paper of the year. Aaready. We're doing a Socratic Seminar in English on Monday regarding forgiveness. I'm pretty pumped, I've never done one of these and its a very interesting topic. My paper's about it and I'm really enjoying writing it. I may post it here when I'm done if I'm truly happy with it. We'll see.
So I'm already triple-booked for lunchtime on Monday. Ayayay. I'm going to a science fair meeting for like 5 mins, then Jazz Choir meeting, then a meeting for the committee I'm signed up to be in for Peer Ministry. I'm excited about that, It'll be cool to see how the mass/lunch we're planning comes together in the end. Very rewarding, I'm assuming. Then I have my real audition after school. I'm slotted for about 5:30. It'll take less than ten minutes and then woohoo! The new Jazz Choir guy seems great, although his facial hair is a little on the strange side. I think I'm going to learn a lot...if I make it!!!
Show auditions are in two weeks. WOOO I'm so excited. Singin in the Rain is gonna be so amazing. I'm TOTALLY PUMPED, MAN!
Aww man that reminds me. Kati and I watched In Good Company last night. It really is one of the best movies I've seen in a realllllly long time. I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Very touching and funny and perfect. I wanna watch it again.
