It sounds like your trip was absolutely amazing! You're so lucky to have had the opportunity to go to both Nepal and Haiti. I was working at a camp last week, and a pair of twins said that their family went on a missions trip to Haiti, and it really made them see how lucky we are to live in America, and how fortunate we are to be born into generally well-off families. It's certainly something I would like to do at some point in my life, because a humbling experience is worth a lot.

I often wonder why I was fortunate to be born into the life I was, and why others were not so fortunate...I guess we are all born into our specific lives for a reason that we don't exactly understand. Yet every now and then, I feel that I get little signals as to why I was born into the life I was. Personally, I belive that the entire human race is intertwined in an elaborate plan...to inspire, change and effect one another in all kinds of ways. But that is just me.

On the Road is one of my favorite books, and Detroit Rock City is an awesome song. Also, I think ballroom dancing is the balls! Hahaha. :)

Glad to hear from you again.
